The Olympus digital voice recorder VN 3100 PC is another model that is more for professional use. The VN 3100 PC also supports direct connection to the PC and uses a USB interface. It comes with an internal memory of 128 Megabytes and can record for up to 71 hours in four different modes, XHQ, SP, HQ and LP. The file management system has a capacity of four folders each capable of holding 100 files. It also supports voice activation and a dual mode playback feature. These features make way for a multi-purpose device that can be used during conferences, lectures or simply to record a long shopping list.
